Lent is a sacred season given to us as a gift by the catholic church. We are called to prepare ourselves spiritually for commemorating the great mystery of the passion, death, and resurrection of the Lord. It’s a call to go deeper with the Lord and find the meaning and identity of our life in the context of Paschal mystery. Lent is not just giving up food or on things but above all it is growing up in Jesus. It is a period of growth in the Lord. Anyone who sits with God will always grow in God.
St. Mary’s gives us an opportunity to grow in God in this season of Lent. It is called “One hour with the Lord in Lent”. A time of deep reflection on THE SEVEN LAST WORDS OF JESUS. It is a call to make a little sacrifice of our personal time to spend with God under the foot of the cross at Calvary on every Tuesday at 7pm to 8pm in our Church. This helps us to understand and deepen our faith about the Paschal Mystery of Christ. Please save the following dates and time to participate in this spiritual service.
Note: There will be ‘Light Dinner’ before each service from 6pm to 7pm on Tuesdays in the church basement.
