Way of the Cross is a journey we make with Jesus as a pilgrim people. By sharing in Christ’s suffering and death, we affirm our closeness with Him. The Crucifix of our Lord Jesus has a power. It is not only a horrific and brutal murder, but also, first and foremost, the greatest act of love and the complete victory over sin and death.
St. Mary’s prays the Way of the Cross on every Friday at 6pm in the Lent Season. Every Friday the Way of the Cross is led by St. Mary’s ministry groups. It is an opportunity for those in different ministry groups to come together, do the preparation together and pray together. Priests and Deacons will always be available to help you in this spiritual service. Please try to involve as many as possible in this sacred service, for example: readers, cross bearers, and candle bearers.
