Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of initiation in the Catholic Church, with baptism and Eucharist.

Think of it as a personal Pentecost, when we receive the tools we need for our spiritual journey - the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

• It unites us more firmly to Christ perfecting what was begun in Baptism.
• It increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
• It renders a more perfect bond with the Church.
• It gives us special strength to assume an active role in the work of Jesus by witnessing to and spreading the faith.

Adults wanting confirmation, will complete it through the RCIA program.
